Eira Sofia Mattinen

Sofia Marttinen passed away peacefully in Ottawa on Wednesday August 5, 2015 at the age of 86. She is predeceased by her daughter Lisa (2014) and her husband Taimo (2005). Beloved "Mummu" of son Thomas (Susan) and grandsons Michael Laan and Alexander and Aaron Marttinen. Thank you to all those, in Victoria and in Ottawa, who cared for Sofia during her brief illness. Thanks also to her friends and family everywhere for their visits, calls, messages, and help.
