Marie-Rose Eva Laroche

Marie-Rose passed away peacefully on November 1, 2016, at the age of 77. With her passing Marie-Rose leaves behind her children, Anita (Tonnis), David (Jana), Michel (Chantal), Marc (Julie) and Yves, and her grand-children, Jean-Michel, Jacqueline, Patrick, David, Jean-Marc, Simon, Noah, Max, Jordan, Philippe, Alexandre, Catherine, Mathieu and Claire. She also leaves behind her sisters, Sylvia, Annette, Malvina, Eva and Lillian, and brothers, Roger and Roméo, as well as her brother-in-laws, Alphonse, Albert and François (Marie), and sister-in-laws, Noëlla, Elaine, Carmen, as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was a woman of courage, strength and devout faith. She battled cancer for many years - a battle which she fought valiantly with the help of her family, and with her husband, Léon, who was the love of her life, and who passed away last year. Marie-Rose was a light in the world, and she will be missed by all who knew her. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 8, at 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 153 Woodroffe Avenue. The service will be followed by a luncheon in the basement of the church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
