John James Edmond Sinclair

January 2nd, 1946 - April 15th, 2017 - Passed away peacefully in his 72nd year at Elisabeth Bruyère Hospital, after a hard fought battle with cancer. Son of James Sinclair and Rita Sinclair (Godbout), both deceased. Proud father of son Sean Sinclair, and daughters Shelley Malo (Jordan) and Andrea Sinclair. Loving big brother to Peter Sinclair. Adoring grampy to Ava and Nathan, and uncle to France. He will also be fondly remembered by special friends Darlene Tysick, Darryl Ramer, Pauline Damphousse, and Vasili Amelin. Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of John’s life on May 1st, 2017 from 7:00 to 9:00pm at First Memorial Funeral Services - Fairview Chapel, 259 St Patrick Street, Ottawa, K1N 5K4. A private interment will take place at a later date. His family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for the amazing care and compassion John received from the staff at the Ottawa Hospital General Campus, as well as at Elisabeth Bruyère. Your kindness in his final days will never be forgotten.
