Stephen "Steve" Patrick Shannon

Shannon, Stephen Patrick “Steve” – passed away peacefully at the Ottawa General Hospital on September 30, 2017 with his family by his side. Born February 27th, 1947 in Montreal, he is pre-deceased by his parents Charles Emmett and Eva Shannon (née Adams) and his sister, Donna (Barry Baird). He will be missed by his brother Charles of Montreal, Linda of Ottawa and Doreen (Marc MacKay) of Elliot Lake. He is survived by nephews Ulric Shannon (Robin Wettlaufer) and Kyle Baird (Rebecca Lynes) and nieces Stephanie Plamondon and Leslie Baird (Dan Muldoon) as well as grand-nephews Noah Muldoon and Bennett Baird and grand-niece Gwen Muldoon. The Montreal Canadiens have lost their #1 fan. Interment of ashes will take place in the Shannon family plot at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges cemetery in Montreal in the spring. Our heartfelt appreciation goes to the staff of the ICU at the General Hospital for their devoted and compassionate care.
